PROJECT DEFINITION WORKSHOPS (PDW)

WHAT IS THE AIM OF PDW?

The aim of Epaton’s Project Definition Workshop (PDW) is to ensure that project stakeholders understand and agree key information about any given project before it starts.

The length of time to define a project depends on the complexity of the potential implementation. For smaller projects where the requirements are relatively straightforward, this could take as little as half a day. In the case of larger, more complex project, more time will need to be allowed.

This is a fully documented process with a detailed report and outline schedule being produced for review and agreement by all stakeholders.

WHAT’S THE TYPICAL AGENDA?

Below is a sample of some of the key areas which would be agreed at a Project Definition Workshop:

Project goals and objectives

Staging and management control points

Project scope and contents

Risk

Outline schedules

Roles and responsibilities
